What a joy to come across an abandoned house that is mainly intact, very high on the hill side and off the beaten track we come to the abandoned house, the ancestral home of the X Family. As always when we visit these places we leave everything exactly as we find it as we are a massive believer in preserving history.

We were very excited to enter the house through the open doorway that lead us to the kitchen/sitting room, the original range cooker remains in the fireplace and many artefacts are scattered throughout the home which gives a fantastic insight into what life must have been like of the inhabitants of the house. Much of the glass is still protecting the windows, even some carpet remains on the floor.

Latest update: More 360 degree places added!. Loads of movies recently added in the Weardale area including Groverake, Skears and Frazers Hush mines.
